WHO ARE WE?
Strong community pride and membership dedication is what has kept the Hatfield Chamber of Commerce a strong and growing organization since 1927. The Hatfield Chamber is run by an Executive Board who is elected by the general membership. Membership is open to any business or individual who shares a common interest in improving and enriching the Hatfield community. Members pay annual dues to defray the operating expenses of the Chamber.
PROGRAMS
The Chamber generally schedules six luncheons a year that give members the opportunity to network with other local business leaders. The meal is followed by a presentation by one of our business members, or a speaker on a subject of general interest to our members, and is a good opportunity for members to showcase their business. In addition to the luncheons, the Chamber occasionally holds Business Mixers/Card Exchanges.
COMMUNITY PROJECTS
The Hatfield Chamber sponsors and supports many fine community projects throughout the year:
- The Memorial Day Project supplies flags for participants and spectators of the Hatfield Memorial Day Parade.
- MusicFeast Concert Series - The Chamber sponsors this annual event held at School Road Park.
- The Chamber Christmas Project provides for the distribution of poinsettias to the aged, ill, and homebound of Hatfield Borough and Hatfield Township.
- The Community Prayer Breakfast held in December
- The Community Caroling & Tree Lighting Ceremony
Through these programs and projects, the Chamber offers many opportunities for the membership to make social and business contacts.
